What is the 'Four Stroke Model'

The four stroke model is the format we use to show that we master the competenties our school asks of us. It is build up in four steps:

Step 1: My vision (on the competency) and theory:

Describe the competencies in your own words, what does it mean to you? Link this to theory. Don’t forget the content of the different subjects in the ITEps course.

Step 2: Self-evaluation and feedback:

How are you behaving with regards to this competency (self-evaluation)? What do others say about your behaviour (feedback of peers/lecturers/TP mentor/visiting lecturer)?

Step 3: Concrete evidence:

Show evidence of your learning. This could be with pictures, videos, worksheets, lesson plan forms, reflections, logbooks, interviews, and so on. Justify why you believe this evidence says something about this specific competency and your learning. Link this to theory; what can you notice?

Step 4: Further development (next PDP):

What do you like to learn further next quarter/year? This could be linked to your PDP for next quarter.
